The Darwin Origin team are responsible for implementing Darwin™ to our clients, as well as managing any changes to the clients’ requirements whilst using the platform and its services. The Origin team plays a critical role in helping our clients realize value from their investment in our technology.
THE ROLE AND YOUR MISSION
- A Darwin Junior Project Manager is responsible for supporting and leading a project team in implementing Darwin through the full lifecycle of a project;
- As a Junior Project Manager you can expect to create, update and ensure adherence to the project plan in accordance with the pre-agreed project length and internal ways of working;
- The role requires you to be able to form strong relationships with key client stakeholders and internal business partners;
- You will be responsible for managing and reporting on all risks and issues associated with the projects within a client’s portfolio.
- You will work closely with the Squad Lead and Programme Manager on resource analysis and required team skills;
- You will have access to PM tools such as Zendesk in order to maintain project status and plans;
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of robust Project Plans in line with DDM, collaborating with more senior Project Managers and team members to ensure all project activities are accounted for and tracked;
- Support the completion of Projects Check Lists for phase gates and detailed tasks that need to be completed within the project lifecycle;
- Help manage and track project deliverables in line with project budget, scope, and quality;
- Aid in managing the scope of the project with the client and internal teams in accordance with the signed contract;
- Assist in managing actions, risks, and issues, ensuring the team and client are aware of progress and their responsibilities;
- Ensure team members and clients are informed of upcoming milestones in a timely manner;
- Maintain project status in the required tools such as Zendesk;
- Adhere to Internal Audit checklists and Quality Gates defined by QAG (QA Governance);
- Collaborate with the Project Managers, Squad Lead and Programme Manager to report any client escalations regarding extending timelines or business risks to the project;
- Contribute to the overall success of project delivery by working closely with the Project Management, Consultant, Config and QA teams;
- Follow the change control process for any changes raised during the project and maintain the status of change requests in the available tools per the agreed Ways of Working;
- Assist in capturing Project Success Criteria and running lessons learned throughout the project and after launch;
- Use Zendesk to maintain project status using Views and Dashboards while also tracking your own time;
- Good grasp of spoken and written English.
- Previous experience in client-facing project management;
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with project management, ideally across multiple projects concurrently;
- A strong team player mindset with excellent interpersonal skills;
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on achieving goals;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interaction;
- A passion for technology and its potential to positively impact the lives of clients and their employees;
