We're hiring a freelance ML Engineer / MLOps expert to help launch a greenfield visual search project for a major e-commerce platform. You'll build production-ready ML infrastructure in a cross-functional team working on a new mobile app feature (Android/iOS).
Your impact:
- Build and maintain ML deployment pipelines
- Implement CI/CD for model training & serving
- Containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes
- Deploy on GCP (or AWS/Azure), using Terraform, Helm, etc.
- Use model serving tools like TorchServe, TensorFlow Serving, or FastAPI
- Integrate monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
What you bring:
- 5+ years in ML Engineering, MLOps, or DevOps for ML
- Experience deploying computer vision models
- Cloud-native mindset (GCP preferred)
- Strong Python skills & experience with MLflow, Kubeflow
- Agile, proactive, strong communicator
You'll work in a product-oriented team with backend, mobile, and data experts to ship a working MVP, embedded in a scalable cloud infrastructure.
