ML Engineer

📍 Utrecht / Hybrid | 🕒 32–40 hrs/week | 🚀 Start: July 1 | ⏳ 6+ months

We're hiring a freelance ML Engineer / MLOps expert to help launch a greenfield visual search project for a major e-commerce platform. You'll build production-ready ML infrastructure in a cross-functional team working on a new mobile app feature (Android/iOS).

Your impact:

• Build and maintain ML deployment pipelines
• Implement CI/CD for model training & serving
• Containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes
• Deploy on GCP (or AWS/Azure), using Terraform, Helm, etc.
• Use model serving tools like TorchServe, TensorFlow Serving, or FastAPI
• Integrate monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

What you bring:

• 5+ years in ML Engineering, MLOps, or DevOps for ML
• Experience deploying computer vision models
• Cloud-native mindset (GCP preferred)
• Strong Python skills & experience with MLflow, Kubeflow
• Agile, proactive, strong communicator

You'll work in a product-oriented team with backend, mobile, and data experts to ship a working MVP, embedded in a scalable cloud infrastructure.
