RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to end-to-end development processes across both backend and frontend in alignment with business requirements
• Design and develop secure, scalable, and sustainable RESTful APIs
• Model data structures, write optimized SQL queries, and create Stored Procedures, Functions, and Views when needed
• Collaborate effectively within the development team using Git-based workflows (branching, merge/pull requests, code reviews)
• Support container-based development and deployment processes using Docker
• Maintain and enhance existing systems, improving performance and integrating new features

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and common design patterns
• Proven experience developing enterprise-level backend services using Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
• Practical understanding of RESTful API design and the HTTP lifecycle (requests/responses, status codes, error handling)
• Proficiency in TypeScript / ES7 syntax and experience with strongly-typed frontend development
• Hands-on experience developing component-based frontend applications using React or Angular
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL / SQL Server / Oracle); ability to write optimized SQL queries and create Stored Procedures, Functions, and Views
• Proficiency in version control with Git; familiarity with branching, merging, and pull request workflows
• Experience developing and packaging services using Docker
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes (GitLab or similar pipeline tools)

PREFERRED/PLUS IF YOU HAVE

• Experience developing backend services with Python (FastAPI or Flask)
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Understanding of unit and integration testing practices
• Experience with system performance optimization and monitoring tools
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
