React Developer

Senior React Developer (Banking / Trading Environment) - Warsaw - £300 - £400 Per Day

Overview:

We’re partnering with a global financial institution to hire an experienced Senior React Developer to join their Front-End Engineering team in Warsaw. You’ll work within a distributed team of 40+ UI Developers across Europe and Asia, building complex, high-performance applications in a highly transactional banking and trading environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge front-end platform using React, TypeScript, and RxJS, where performance, scalability, and real-time data handling are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Implement reactive programming patterns with RxJS to handle live, streaming, and transactional data.
• Collaborate with global teams (engineering, product, and UX) to deliver complex front-end solutions in a fast-paced financial environment.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and front-end best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement across the team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience building modern front-end applications with React and TypeScript.
• Strong background in JavaScript (ES6+), front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with RxJS or similar reactive programming frameworks.
• Proven experience developing UI solutions for data-intensive, highly transactional systems (banking, trading, or similar).
• Solid understanding of performance optimisation, state management, and component design.
• Experience in agile teams and working with distributed/global teams.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).

Desirable:

• Experience in front-office banking, electronic trading, or risk management systems.
• Familiarity with Redux, MobX, or other state-management frameworks.
• Exposure to GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time data streams.
• Knowledge of Storybook, CI/CD, and component libraries.

Package:

• £300 - £400 Per Day
• 12 Month Contract
• 1 day a month in Warsaw.
