Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

• The SRE team acts as the gatekeeper of all infrastructure and production changes, ensuring smooth deployment, stability, and scalability of the platform. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting development teams across multiple pods. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong operational ownership and production deployment support during off-peak hours.

Requirements:

• AWS — 5+ years of experience in the core cloud platform for all infrastructure.
• Kubernetes — 5+ years of experience in container orchestration for deploying and managing applications.
• Terraform — 5+ years of experience in infrastructure as code for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Helm — for packaging and deploying Kubernetes applications.
• CI/CD: GitOps (Experience maintaining and optimizing pipelines is required.)

Will be a plus:

• Experience with SageMaker or similar ML model deployments.
• Good understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response practices.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Maintenance & Operations.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Support deployments to production and non-prod environments.
• Deployment & Release Management
• Coordinate and perform scheduled production deployments.
• Work with multiple pods and dev teams to deploy new resources (e.g., SageMaker models, new infra components).
• Ensure deployments follow infrastructure-as-code principles.
• CI/CD and Automation
• Maintain and optimize GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and support development teams in real-time.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of deployment processes.
• Act as a service team for development pods across the company.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues raised by other teams.
• Work closely with dev teams to move POCs to production (test in lower lanes → promote to prod).
