Game Artist – On-Site, Ankara
About Us
We’re an ambitious and innovative team with over 1.6 billion worldwide downloads from our mobile games.
As we continue our journey in hybrid-casual, with exciting global titles such as That’s My Seat and Block Sort, we’re looking for new teammates to shape what comes next.
Our mission is to build playful, high quality experiences with solid design and technical integrity - raising our brands MagicLab and RoofTop Games to new global achievements. We know this is only possible through vision, hard work, and talented people who love what they do.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Game Artist who excels in stylized and toon designs, enjoys innovating, and brings ideas to life. 2D is the primary production need, while 3D skills are a plus for prototyping and low poly support.
We value creativity, curiosity, and a good design eye — along with the ability and drive to keep growing.
What You’ll Do
- Brainstorm with game designers, product specialists, artists, developers and the marketing team to find the next big thing
- Create appealing game visuals — from concepts to final assets
- Collaborate with the team to achieve the best results
- Contribute to our games’ overall look, feel, and quality
- Design game elements, assets and environments
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Graphics, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Have an educated eye for color harmony, lighting, perspective, and concept art
- A good sense of composition and visual storytelling
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent tools
- Familiarity with Unity workflows
What Would Be A Big Plus
- Experience with 3D modeling tools (Blender, Maya, etc.)
- Technical pipeline knowledge and familiarity with production processes required to make a game
- Experience with successful hybrid-casual games, especially in the puzzle genre
What MagicLab Offers
- Competitive salary and unique bonus system
- Various health, social and entertainment benefits
- A culture that supports personal growth — room to experiment and improve
- A collaborative team with strong creative exchange
- Inclusive and comfortable work environment in our Ankara office
- High-profile development resources, tools and equipment
Characteristics we value
- Passionate about the mobile industry and hybrid-casual games
- A team-oriented mindset and problem-solving attitude
- Value constructive and effective communication
- Critical thinker
- Eager to expand boundaries
- Open to feedback
- Committed to learning and exploring new ideas
- Optimistic and future-focused
If you enjoy combining creativity with technical curiosity and want to see your ideas directly shape global games, we’d love to meet you.
