We are seeking an expert Senior Data Solution Architect to join our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated data solutions that support business objectives. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver scalable and forward-thinking data platforms in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee scalable data pipeline designs
• Lead the implementation of real-time streaming architectures for large data volumes
• Develop and optimize data lakes for efficient storage and access
• Build and support ETL and ELT processes using Azure Data Factory
• Integrate distributed data processing with Azure Databricks and PySpark
• Architect cloud solutions using both IaaS and PaaS models in Azure
• Configure networking and CI/CD workflows with Azure DevOps
• Develop effective and scalable strategies for telemetry and log analytics
• Utilize time-series and operational analytics with Azure Data Explorer and KQL
• Establish data security, governance, and compliance frameworks with Azure Purview
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions using Azure technologies
• Encourage collaboration, clear communication, and mentoring across teams
• Apply Agile and DevOps principles to enable continuous integration and delivery

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in data architecture or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles such as Lead, Manager, or Architect, preferably in Agile or hybrid environments
• Proven experience managing teams of 40 or more professionals
• Participation in at least 8 full project cycles or launching two or more products or major features
• Advanced expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks (PySpark), Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Explorer for real-time analytics and log processing
• Proficiency in distributed data processing and optimization with PySpark and Azure Databricks
• Ability to design scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and real-time streaming solutions using ADX
• Hands-on experience with ETL and ELT automation and integration through Azure Data Factory
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, networking in Azure, and CI/CD with Azure DevOps
• Experience creating cost-effective data architectures for telemetry and log analytics using ADX
• Background in time-series data analysis and operational analytics with ADX and KQL
• Expertise in implementing data security, governance, and compliance with Azure Purview
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions focused on Azure and ADX
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills within cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for continuous integration
• Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written

Nice to have

• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with knowledge of Scala
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Databricks Certified Spark Developer
