Job Description: SAP Solution Architect – Technical

Role Overview:

The purpose of this role is to lead and drive the design & development of technology solutions for SAP S/4HANA transformation, with a special focus on the SAP ERP Finance domain including S/4 Hana architecture, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Integration, SAP, SAP ERP ECC Suite on HANA data migration to S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP ARIBA upstream(strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier onboarding), SAP ARIBA downstream (source to pay, procure to pay), SAP SuccessFactors HCM, SAP Employee Central, OpenText Vendor invoice management and OpenText document archiving. The role should provide thought leadership and strategic direction, to influence the overall roadmap with initiatives that are value generating. The role will provide leadership and direction in shaping up the business case, validating the value drivers and ensure optimal approach is envisaged.

Working with business stakeholders and internal and external development teams, the role will ensure the alignment of solution designs conforming to regulatory demands, architectural standards, business requirements, budgets, and IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution and Technology Architecture expertise with a minimum of 10 years of work experience, and with a proven track record in executing complex SAP S/4HANA transformation and SAP ERP ECC to S/4HANA data migration projects.
• Experience in Enterprise architecture, Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and other integration methodologies, ideally in the SAP ERP Finance domain, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Excellent understanding and experience of SAP RISE architecture deployment on Azure is preferable.
• Experience in designing data migration from SAP ERP ECC to S/4HANA such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, and SAP Data Services with focus on data integration, data profiling, and data quality.
• Experience in SAP Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) tools and methodologies for new S/4HANA implementation, selective data transition, and system conversion are highly preferable.
• Strong understanding and experience in S/4HANA database and optimization techniques
• Experience in developing solutions leveraging AI capabilities in the SAP Business Technology Platform
• Experience in developing API-based and Service Oriented architecture.
• Experience with the architecture of mission-critical, high-transaction volume environments
• Experience with the full software development life cycle using traditional and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in C-level stakeholder management. The position requires working closely with other architects, business teams, and project teams.
• Proven experience in recognizing the corporate strategy and realizing all business processes that define how a company achieves its strategic goals.
• Experience in seeking the alignment of business and IT, driving common approaches, and delivering sustainable, re-usable enterprise architecture using both agile and waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant advanced degree is mandatory.
• One or more Certification in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture desirable – e.g. Well Architected Frameworks, SAFe Architect, TOGAF, Open Certified Architect, ISEB Architecture
• Certification in SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA
• Certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty
