Research Engineer

We’re looking for a Research Engineer to join our dynamic team, contributing to the design, assembly, and testing of next-generation battery cells.
As a Research Engineer, you’ll be working hands-on in the lab, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving advancements in battery cell manufacturing. Your work will directly support pilot-scale and mass production, helping to shape the future of energy storage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and optimization of battery cell designs through experiments.
- Support pilot and mass production processes, including documentation and process improvement.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Develop and optimize slurry formulations and processes.
- Coating of high quality electrodes with our state-of-the-art roll-to-roll coater.
- Interpret experimental results and provide insights to guide team decisions.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to foster innovation and share knowledge.
- Maintain lab equipment, follow safety protocols, and manage lab supplies.
- Document experiments and assist in preparing technical reports.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor to Master´s degree, preferably within electrochemistry, materials science, chemistry, or similar
- Strong practical lab skills, especially in materials characterization or assembly.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data.
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to lab protocols.
- Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new techniques.
