Here Is What The Job Entails
As a System Operations Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Kamstrup’s smart meter solutions. You will manage systems to meet delivery commitments, handle customer inquiries, and collaborate across teams to drive improvements. Your responsibilities include onboarding customers and meters, delivering contracted services, optimizing processes, maintaining documentation and sharing insights.
More specifically, you will be:
- Providing customer support to our Heat & Cooling and Water business units with focus on high customer satisfaction
- Managing system and technical onboarding for all Norwegian customers
- Identifying opportunities for sales growth and operational improvements
- Troubleshooting issues and driving initiatives to enhance service performance and operational efficiency

Reporting directly to our Head of Service, Norway you will be part of a team of five based in Oslo. Together, we support Norwegian customers with system inquiries related to our Electricity, Heat & Cooling, and Water business units. Less About Us, More About You
We are looking for a System Operations Engineer with a proven track-record of handling complex deliveries to customers. You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the intersection between customer service and IT, preferably within the energy or telecom industries.
To succeed in this role, we envision that you have:
- Proficiency in working with SLA’s
- Proven track-record of being in close contact with customers and handling complex deliveries
- Experience with CRM systems or case management systems
- A customer centric mindset with a structured and reliable approach to work
- A technical and analytical mindset
