Job Description
UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry-level Web Developer to join Academic Technology-Web Services, a unit within UFIT.
UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator.
UFIT Web Service is in the Center for Instructional Technology & Training (CITT). We are seeking an entry level web developer to contribute to the success of our team. A Web Developer who is able to build and apply industry standards to design visually appealing web sites using HTML and CSS and apply web coding standards. Knowledge of web accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 desired
The successful candidate will design and deliver accessible and engaging web interfaces.
Responsibilities Include
- Supporting customers in a web content management system such as TERMINALFOUR or WordPress Multisite
- Collaborating with peers to develop and implementing user driven web accessible templates and interfaces for ease of use.
- Front end web development and hands on the development of web applications utilizing languages such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, HTML5, Python or PHP

Expected Salary
$53,000 - $55,000 commensurate based on education and experience.
