New Business is a group within Axis that focuses on ideas outside the Network Video area. The group operate within the development of products in new product areas and the team is responsible for evaluating ideas from a customer/user perspective without forgetting the technical and commercial perspective.

Our various development teams are small and dynamic, and they are taking responsibility for their respective areas. Openness and collaboration are key words that characterize our way of working. What Will You Be Working With

As a UX designer in New Business, you will be responsible for the user experience of our software products, solutions, and the interactive user interface of hardware products – everything from installation to everyday use and troubleshooting. You will work on developing complex interfaces and solution proposals for advanced user flows, focusing on both physical and screen-based user interfaces.

Together with other designers, you will help realize concepts and product ideas that contribute to a first-class user experience and provide real value to our customers worldwide. The role primarily involves designing flows by considering user needs while continuously syncing with agile development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to create foundations for user-friendly, intuitive, and effective interfaces that meet user needs and expectations. You will follow the products from research to release.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of user-centered design and enjoys contributing to a better product experience at a detailed level. You thrive best when collaborating with others and are eager to share your insights and designs. You are a proactive and solution-oriented person who enjoys innovation and technology. You have an understanding of full-stack development and appreciate the intricate technical discussions required to be able to come up with good design. Experience within electronics and prototyping is a plus. You are used to work in a structured way and have an understanding of platform-specific design.

In addition to the above, we would like you to have:

• A few years of experience working with UX design in a professional setting.
• The ability to produce multiple design proposals and a pragmatic approach to how time, prioritization, and technical limitations can influence design choices.
• Experience working in Figma, Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
• A basic understanding of working with, and contributing to, design systems.
• Knowledge in areas such as information technology, web design, web construction, information design, programming, quality, cognitive science, human-computer interaction and information security.
• Comfort in communicating your design with various stakeholders across different areas of expertise.
  
  

Please note that this role is primarily office-based.
