Job Description:
Seeking a Network Administrator – Project Lead to support enterprise network infrastructure within a Network Operations Center (NOC). The role focuses on strengthening and optimizing network systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise wireless and network infrastructure
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve LAN/WLAN/WAN issues
- Support connectivity for Windows, Mac, tablets, and mobile devices
- Conduct wireless assessments and maintain heatmaps (Ekahau)
- Manage device lifecycle and ISE registration
- Perform firmware/software/security upgrades
- Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for wireless and network issues
- Document work, follow Change Management, and provide project updates
- Collaborate with Network, Security, and Server Hosting teams
- Assist with system/network installations, relocations, and upgrades
Required Skills
- 3+ years: LAN/WLAN/WAN administration
- 3+ years: Cisco & Palo Alto Firewall administration
- 3+ years: Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- 3+ years: Ticketing system experience
- Strong understanding of OS, applications, storage, and networking fundamentals
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel statewide
- Ability to climb ladders and lift/move equipment (40 lbs)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
Network Certification (Cisco, CompTIA, etc.)
SolarWinds Orion monitoring
Ekahau Sidekick wireless assessment
Additional Notes
Must complete HIPAA training and sign confidentiality agreements
Must adhere to IT standards, policies, and security protocols
