This is a developmental role leading toward full Project Manager responsibilities within Avanceon’s Projects Division. High-performing APMs will gain exposure to complex automation systems, customer engagement, and international project standards — paving the way for leadership roles in project and program management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Support Project Manager in preparing detailed execution plans, schedules, and progress reports using Avanceon’s project control templates.
- Coordinate between internal departments (Engineering, SCM, Finance, QA/QC, Site) to ensure timely task completion.
- Track project milestones, material deliveries, and resource mobilization plans.
- Maintain and update project dashboards and status trackers per PMO reporting standards.
- Assist in preparing or reviewing system architecture diagrams, control philosophies, I/O lists, FAT/SAT protocols, and project submittals.
- Support Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT), including documentation and punch-list closure.
- Manage document transmittals to ensure submissions comply with Avanceon’s document control procedures.
- Assist in monitoring project cost sheets, billing milestones, and subcontractor claims.
- Support preparation of variation orders, change requests, and project correspondence.
- Coordinate with SCM on supplier follow-ups, logistics, and BOQ alignment.
- Participate in client meetings, document minutes (MoMs), and update action trackers.
- Coordinate with site teams on installation, testing, and commissioning progress.
- Follow up on punch-list closure and ensure documentation completion prior to handover.
- Solid understanding of PLC and SCADA systems (preferably Siemens PCS7, S7-400/1500, WinCC).
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control system architecture drawings.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and project reporting tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
- Proactive learner with a positive attitude and commitment to project excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in industrial automation or control system projects, ideally within a system integrator or EPC environment.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Water, or Manufacturing sectors is a strong advantage.
