Chief BI Analyst

We are searching for a Chief BI Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping data-driven approaches and supporting business intelligence initiatives throughout the organization. You will have the chance to work with cutting-edge analytics tools and collaborate with talented colleagues in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess company KPIs and metrics through client Power BI semantic models, define calculation logic, and track data movement from the warehouse to Power BI
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, including BI professionals and business analysts, to map out formulas and determine aggregation rules for company-wide KPIs
• Specify requirements for data transformation to the EPAM data engineering team to implement KPIs and metrics in the gold layer of the data platform
• Redesign and optimize Power BI semantic models to incorporate enterprise KPIs and metrics from the data platform
• Coordinate with the client’s data architect to develop data models for the gold layer of the platform

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related area at the bachelor’s or master’s level
• Seven or more years of experience in business intelligence or a comparable domain
• At least two years in a managerial or team lead position, with the ability to provide technical leadership, influence project direction, promote best practices, and ensure quality results
• Participation in a minimum of two end-to-end project implementations or involvement in several projects across different development stages
• Expertise in Power BI
• Experience working with data warehouse (DWH) systems
• Proficiency in KPI analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• English language skills at B2 level or above
