We are seeking a Chief BI Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping data-driven decision-making and supporting business intelligence initiatives across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work with advanced analytics tools and collaborate with experts in a dynamic environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze enterprise KPIs and metrics within client Power BI semantic models, define KPI formulas, and trace data lineage from data warehouse to Power BI
  • Work with client subject matter experts, including BI team members and business analysts, to map formulas and determine aggregation levels for enterprise KPIs
  • Specify data transformation requirements for the EPAM data engineering team to implement enterprise KPIs and metrics in the data platform’s gold layer
  • Refactor and realign Power BI semantic models to leverage enterprise KPIs and metrics from the data platform
  • Collaborate with the client’s data architect on data modeling for the data platform’s gold layer

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in business intelligence or a similar area
  • At least two years of experience in leadership or team management, with the ability to guide teams technically, influence project direction, promote best practices, and ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Participation in at least two full-cycle projects or involvement in multiple projects covering various development lifecycle stages
  • Proficiency in Power BI
  • Experience with data warehouse (DWH) systems
  • Strong skills in KPI analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • English communication skills at B2 level or above
