As an iOS Engineer at Swiggy, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Swiggy’s food delivery, grocery, and hyperlocal services. About the role

We are seeking a skilled iOS Engineer to join our dynamic Bengaluru engineering team. You will develop and maintain iOS applications using SwiftUI, collaborate on product features, and ensure high performance and scalability of Swiggy apps. You will play a critical role in improving user experiences and delivering high-quality software under tight timelines.

Ideal candidate profile

Key responsibilities

• Develop iOS applications using SwiftUI for Swiggy’s food delivery and hyperlocal services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement new app features.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following iOS development best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve iOS application performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and best practices.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects, adhering to immediate availability and product deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with Swift and SwiftUI for iOS development.
• Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality iOS applications.
• Solid understanding of iOS SDK, UI/UX design principles, and best practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and offline storage solutions.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaborative software teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
