📊 Data Analyst | Sydney | Melbourne | Maroochydore | Brisbane | Hybrid / Remote

Are you passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights that shape strategy and improve customer experiences? We’re seeking a Data Analyst to join a purpose-driven organisation representing some of Australia’s most recognised niche brands in the insurance and lifestyle sector.

In this role, you’ll sit at the centre of the business — partnering with teams across Marketing, Finance, Claims, and Operations to bring data to life. Your insights will help uncover opportunities, improve decision-making, and drive business performance.

📍 Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Maroochydore

đź’Ľ Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

💰 Salary: $100K – $120K base + super + discretionary annual incentive (12–15%) aligned to the calendar-year performance period

🏠 Work Arrangement:

  • If Maroochydore-based – hybrid model, typically 3–4 days onsite with flexibility based on work requirements
  • If Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane-based – more flexible or potentially 100% remote, with some national travel required to build relationships across the business and contextualise data insights

What you’ll do:

  • Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Design and manage datasets across customer, product, and transactional areas.
  • Enhance data quality by identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
  • Create engaging dashboards and visualisations (Power BI or similar) to communicate insights clearly.
  • Balance quick-turnaround ad hoc requests with larger, more strategic analytical projects.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions — from pricing models to optimised digital marketing campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a data analysis or reporting role, ideally within a data warehouse or cloud environment.
  • Strong SQL skills (essential), with proficiency in Python and Excel.
  • Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Familiarity with ETL or cloud technologies (Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL) is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and strong attention to detail.

What’s on offer:

  • A collaborative and supportive team where your work makes a tangible impact.
  • Competitive salary and annual performance-based incentive.
  • Ongoing training, career growth, and development opportunities.
  • Lifestyle benefits including insurance discounts, extra leave, and a culture that values balance and adventure.
  • Opportunities for national travel and cross-functional collaboration.

Only candidates with full working rights and are currently based in Australia NEED APPLY.
