Remuneration: $141,974 - $169,151 per annum + super + 17.5% leave loading

About The Opportunity

As the ICT Project Manager for the Health Grade Enterprise Network (HGEN) local network uplift, you will be responsible for the planning, design and delivery of wired and wireless computer infrastructure upgrades at various sites -related projects across Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD). You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, innovative and sustainable ICT solutions are delivered in line with MLHD’s strategic objectives.

As the ICT Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advanced project management in line with industry best practice.
  • Supporting the implementation of ICT infrastructure projects related to eHealth, capital works, and both externally and internally funded initiatives.
  • Gathering requirements, analysing and designing technical solutions to support innovation, business cases and project development.
  • Leading implementation, testing, and quality assurance of project test and build environments.
  • Providing periodic reporting on operational health and project progress including key issues, constraints and dependencies.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or project management, or equivalent experience and knowledge.
  • Demonstrated successful implementation of major ICT infrastructure projects aimed at achieving the organisation’s strategic objectives, including the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of establishing and managing documentation and associated processes related to major projects, and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with the project team, managers and other stakeholders.
  • Highly developed negotiation, consultation and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders to influence change and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
