As a Backend AI Engineer you will be part of the team of the AI Team.

🟣 The skills you need

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development
• Strong understanding of AI strategy: when to use RAG vs fine-tuning vs few-shot learning and how to select models
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
• Experience with prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, and managing model outputs
• Understanding of AI-specific challenges: evaluation metrics, monitoring, hallucination mitigation
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go (major advantage for our tech stack)
• Experience in the fintech or payment industry
• Knowledge of data pipelines and Postgres
• Experience with model fine-tuning or training
• Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings
