The Data Analyst – Platform Services and Leading Performance will be a key member of the Financial Operations (FinOps) team supporting financial operations, vendor governance, and performance analytics. Working closely with Supply Chain Mgmt (SCM), Service Management Office (SMO) and the Leading Performance Finance Analyst and Contracts Analyst, this role will focus on data-driven insights to optimize financial forecasting, contract lifecycle management, and operational transparency across ITOF teams.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance, contract compliance, and vendor metrics.
- Analyze large datasets from SMART GEP, Target Process, and other enterprise systems to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including variance analysis and performance scorecards.
- Partner with the Finance Analyst to align data insights with forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Analyst to ensure contract data integrity and support lifecycle tracking.
- Serve as a data liaison between ITOF, Chevron Finance, and Service Management Office (SMO)
- Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and automate recurring reporting tasks.
- Contribute to the development of standardized data models and templates for financial and contract analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Support contract governance processes by providing data validation and performance metrics.
Relocation may be considered.
