The mission of our new staff member in ACCELERAS will be to make a difference in our society and environment 🌱 through cooperating with the other team members and EU partners in shaping new educational methodologies, tools, activities, and many more! You are actually accountable for taking any action needed to make our vision for a better, more just, and green world 🌍 succeed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget πŸ’°, timeline ⏳, and scope πŸ“‹. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members πŸ‘₯.

ACCELERAS KG was established in 2023 by a group of young professionals who are committed to social innovation and social impact πŸ’‘. In a very short time, ACCELERAS joined several European partnerships in diverse EU programs and it already has its first EU-funded project πŸŽ‰. ACCELERAS is active in the fields of adult education (Erwachsenenbildung), Vocational Education (Berufsbildung), and Youth Work (Jugendarbeit). We research the needs of local people and organisations, and then collaborate with European partners to initiate projects funded by the EU to respond to the identified needs of the local community 🌍. We have four different departments: Corporate Education, Research and Innovation, Professional Training, and Multimedia Production. This position is within the Research and Innovation department.

Responsibilities and Tasks πŸ“‹

πŸ“Œ Act as the national focal point and designated manager of assigned projects.

πŸ”„ Co-ordinating the implementation of multiple EU-funded projects.

πŸ“ Drafting of project applications and proposals for EU-funded programmes/measures.

πŸ“… Contribute to project development, organisation, planning of schedules, tasks and priorities, review of project deliverables and ensure project implementation, completing all necessary arrangements in advance and in a timely manner.

πŸ› οΈ Implement project activities within fixed criteria and planning.

πŸ“Š Track activities against the plan and provide status reports.

✍️ Provide support and written input to drafting and updating comprehensive reports, focus papers, handbooks and/or briefings.

πŸ“’ Disseminate the outputs of the project/s through various means and channels available, such as presentations, articles, conference papers, workshops, seminars, publications, conferences, social media, etc.

πŸ“¨ Prepare and process and draft correspondence, memos, documents, presentations and assist in preparing reports.

πŸ” Proofread and correct linguistic and grammatical errors within texts and documents. Translate documents and texts related to project activities from/to English and German.

πŸ“š Organise the production, distribution, and publication of documents in print version or online.

🀝 Maintain contacts with partners and stakeholders, including specialists in specific fields.

πŸ” Carry out desk and field research as necessary.

πŸ“… Carry out the practical and logistical organisation of meetings, official journeys, and other events.

πŸŽ“ Design learning and training materials to be used for manuals, toolkits, and E-learning.

πŸ“ˆ Carry out evaluations as necessary.

πŸ“‘ Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports about project processes, progress, and products.

🌐 Liaison with local and transnational partners, acting as a trusted focal point.

βš™οΈ Handling day-to-day duties required for the smooth running of the projects.

πŸ—£οΈ Report to the supervisor on activities in progress and inform of any problems encountered.

πŸ› οΈ Carry out other tasks as may be required connected to the project implementation.

Skillsets and Requirements πŸ› οΈ

Location:

- Candidates must be already based in Vienna πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή.

- Readiness and ability for project-based travels within Europe ✈️.

Languages:

- Excellent command of Business English (more than C1+).

- Ability in drafting high quality analytical papers in English.

- Excellent command of German (more than C1+).

- Ability in communicating and negotiating in German.

- Official language proficiency certifications for non-native languages such as IELTS and Γ–SD are a plus.

Cognitive:

- Knowledge of the European Union and its history, institutions, structure, and work πŸ›οΈ.

- Understanding of international collaboration and development work.


Practical:

- Experience in project management.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables and time-management.

- Ability to work independently, and under minimal supervision.

- Experience in undertaking qualitative and/or quantitative research (at least during studies).

- Understanding of monitoring and evaluation.

- Ability / Readiness to design workshops and trainings and also facilitate/deliver trainings.

Personal:

- Possession of good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

- Can communicate clearly and precisely both orally and in writing.

- Develop and improve personal skills and knowledge of the organisation and its environment. commit to train others, share knowledge, and systematically improve working methods.

- Ability to work as part of a team.

- Ability in engaging with diverse people with various roles and backgrounds.

Technical:

- Experience with computer applications such as MS Office package or similar (mainly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, spreadsheet).

- Experience with online collaborative tools such as Google Drive, SLACK, and so on.

- Experience with online conference tools such as ZOOM, Google Meets, and so on.

- Experience with online design tools such as CANVA, MIRO, JAMBOARD.

Education & Experience:

- A minimum of a completed bachelor’s degree πŸŽ“

- Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience after bachelor graduation πŸ—“οΈ

Salary πŸ’°

- The starting monthly gross salary on a full-time basis (38 hours) is 2,750 Euro (x12) based on relevant experience of at least a cumulation of one year of full-time experience after bachelor graduation.
