About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the Vaccine Assay Development Group (labs) within a leading biopharmaceutical organisation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale digital transformation of clinical laboratories, focused on data-driven innovation and modernisation of assay development processes.

You will be responsible for coordinating multiple assay squads, ensuring successful project delivery, and applying agile principles to optimise collaboration and outcomes. The position sits within the Data Reduction & Insights squad, supporting the rollout of a cutting-edge data reduction system (Spotfire) and associated dashboards to enhance downstream data utilisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery of new assays and oversee intra-team deliverables within assay squads.
  • Support projects such as ZeroTouch and MaxData, along with transversal initiatives like NCTA implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with scientists, lab managers, technicians, and cross-functional stakeholders to align deliverables and timelines.
  • Drive project planning, governance, and reporting activities (e.g., steering committees, all-hands meetings).
  • Apply an agile mindset — leveraging sprints, user stories, and iterative delivery to maximise value.
  • Maintain project oversight to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced scientific environment.

Profile Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in project management, ideally within pharma, biotech, or laboratory settings.
  • Understanding of scientific or laboratory concepts (specific assay expertise not required).
  • Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira); adaptable rather than prescriptive in approach.
  • Curious, delivery-focused, and able to pivot quickly based on changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English and French.

Why Join?

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a transformative digitalisation programme in clinical research, where data and technology drive innovation. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, agile environment while contributing to projects that make a meaningful impact on global healthcare.
