Lead Product Designer
The future of gaming in Finland is changing – and we’re recruiting. In 2027, the Finnish license market will open, bringing a new era for iGaming. At Veikkaus, we’re preparing for this transformation - and we’re looking for passionate professionals to join us on this exciting journey.

We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer – Sports to join our Product Design team and lead the design of Veikkaus’ Sportsbook experience across digital channels. You’ll ensure high-quality, consistent design, create efficient user journeys, and evolve our design systems across platforms while mentoring and developing a team of Product Designers.
Key Responsibilities
The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model. The position is permanent and full-time.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality and consistency of design outputs across the team.
- Influence design strategy, vision and priorities.
- Ensure efficient, user-friendly journeys across digital products.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Designers, fostering professional development and design excellence.
- Govern and evolve the design systems across multiple channels/platforms.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, HCI, or related field.
- 7+ years proven experience in product or UX design, including mentorship experience.
- Strong skills in design systems, user-centred design and cross-functional collaboration for high-traffic sports betting platforms.
- Highly experienced in cross-platform sports betting products, including native iOS (Swift), native Android (Kotlin), mobile web, and desktop.
- Proven international track record in iGaming, especially sports betting.
- Experienced in working across digital channels, including mobile apps (iOS and Android), mobile web, and desktop.
- Advanced Figma skills.
