Kubernetes Operator Development
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Kubernetes operators to automate workflows, manage complex applications, and improve system resilience.
- Manage lifecycle of operators, including updates, testing, and performance optimization.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or on-premises, including hybrid clusters.
- Optimize cluster performance, capacity planning, and scaling based on resource usage.
- Implement security best practices, including RBAC, Pod Security Policies, and network policies to ensure secure deployments.
- Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment of containerized applications.
- Use GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deploy processes for containerized applications.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to maintain visibility into system health.
- Implement automated recovery procedures and troubleshoot incidents to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code/data (IaC) using Crossplane for consistent, scalable deployments.
- Write scripts and tools (Python, Bash, Go) to automate routine tasks, enhance cluster functionality, and support development.
- Solid experience in running operations in production; scaling and reliability issues trouble-shooting
- Building tooling
- CI/CD (GitHub actions/workflows an extra plus)
- Desire and ability to quickly acquire broad high-level intuition of AI systems and solutions
- Initiative, pragmatic problem solving, and great collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
