About The Role
We are now looking for a temporary People & Culture Specialist (12-month contract) to join our EMEA HR team, reporting to the HR Director, EMEA. In this role, you will support employees across our German offices (Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Munich) and collaborate closely with the HR Director and wider team to deliver high-quality HR services throughout the employee lifecycle.
Possible locations for this position are Berlin, Hamburg or Stuttgart, Germany.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related questions
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding
- Own HR administrative topics such as vacation, absences, and data maintenance
- Prepare HR documentation, including contracts, certificates, and employment references
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Provide accurate payroll inputs and collaborate with the external payroll provider
- Partner with HR colleagues globally on regional and company-wide initiatives
- Experience in a similar HR role, preferably in the IT or technology industry
- Strong knowledge of German labor law
- Fluency in both German and English
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR software solutions (we use Sympa and Greenhouse)
- A degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in compensation and benefits administration
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
