Minimum Experience and Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree or three years of higher education, or equivalent professional experience, with 5+ years in Systems Performance or a related role.
As a Systems Performance Engineer, you will:
- Establish and document performance baselines for infrastructure and core applications.
- Define and implement standard tooling for performance analysis.
- Evaluate CMS ecosystem performance to enhance user experience.
- Measure performance across client, backend, and system components.
- Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to propose solutions and support capacity planning.
- Conduct load testing, technical studies, and prepare design/vision documentation.
- Provide expert guidance on architecture, risk, standards, and best practices for performance.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree or three years of higher education, with 5+ years in Systems Performance or a related role.
- Proven expertise in Linux administration, performance tuning, and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with system, database, application (Apache, WebSphere, Filenet), and infrastructure performance analysis and monitoring tools.
- Ability to evaluate complex enterprise applications and infrastructure, identify bottlenecks, and implement best practices.
- Ability to write clear, structured technical documentation and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
