We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team, based in either Karlskoga or Linköping.

Responsibilities

• System hardening in Windows environments, developing security functionalities for operating systems, and providing technical support in IT security matters.
• You will contribute to the development of products within one of our business units, playing a key role in both future product development and maintenance of the existing portfolio.
• Our supported products range from embedded systems—where we design much of our own electronics—to large graphical planning systems.
• With many new projects underway, the role offers exciting and varied challenges.
• We support a large part of the organization and are currently in an expansive phase, requiring additional colleagues at both locations.

Your Profile

• We are looking for candidates with experience in application-level cybersecurity and a solid practical background.
• You may have previously worked in IT operations, system administration, or OS configuration. Strong software and programming skills are a plus.
• To thrive in this role, you should have experience or knowledge in administering Windows environments, including Windows Server and services such as Active Directory.
• Familiarity with security controls like AppGuard, scripting in PowerShell, and log management in Windows is desirable.

Additional qualifications that will strengthen your profile include:

• Knowledge of system hardening and frameworks such as CIS Controls or DOD STIG.
• Experience with requirements work and frameworks like KSF and NIST.
• Familiarity with security controls such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, logging tools, and access control.
• Experience in network configuration, e.g., with Cisco.
• Programming skills in Python for automation.
• Experience with container technologies such as Podman or Docker.
• Experience in a similar role for Linux environments is a significant advantage.
