Are you a cyber security professional who enjoys solving complex problems in safety-critical environments? We are expanding our engineering team at SiNIX and are looking for experienced Cyber Security Engineers to join us.
Our clients operate within Automotive, Industrial Automation and Defense. We deliver both full project teams and individual consultants — often operating from our own premises at Lindholmen.
Your Role
As a Cyber Security Engineer at SiNIX you work in the intersection of architecture, software development, cyber regulations and functional safety. You play a key role in securing future vehicle systems against cyber threats and ensuring compliance.

Your Role
As a Cyber Security Engineer at SiNIX you work in the intersection of architecture, software development, cyber regulations and functional safety. You play a key role in securing future vehicle systems against cyber threats and ensuring compliance.
You will work with:
- TARA (Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment) and support HARA (Functional Safety risk analysis)
- ISO/SAE 21434 (Cyber Security) and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
- UNECE R155 compliance work and process documentation
- Designing and verifying security concepts for ECU, networks and software
- Supporting development teams with cyber/security architecture insights
- 3+ years of professional experience within cyber security
- Experience with TARA/HARA and structured compliance work
- Knowledge of cryptography, secure architectures, automotive protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet)
- Experience with ISO/SAE 21434 and ISO 26262
- Strong communication skills in English — Swedish is a plus
- Background in software development (C/C++) is a strong advantage
- Experience from automotive e.g. of Android Automotive, OTA, AUTOSAR or secure boot architectures
