NU Advisory Partners has been retained to identify a visionary and analytically rigorous executive to serve as Senior Vice President, Growth for a leading technology-driven company. This leader will architect and lead strategic planning and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment between go-to-market priorities, product investments, and corporate objectives. The SVP will bring a disciplined approach to evaluating market opportunities and shaping the organization’s long-term growth agenda. Critically, this person will have a demonstrated track record of identifying new market and/or new product opportunities that led to significant growth.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Planning & Growth Architecture


  • Design and lead the company’s integrated strategic planning process, incorporating internal capabilities, customer insights, market dynamics, and competitive trends.
  • Partner with senior leadership to define and refine long-term growth strategies across existing and emerging product lines and geographies.
  • Develop frameworks to evaluate, prioritize, and sequence high-value opportunities while balancing execution readiness and risk.


Market & Competitive Analysis


  • Conduct detailed market analyses on customer segments, emerging trends, and competitive positioning to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and recommend new market entry or expansion opportunities supported by ROI models, scenario planning, and business cases.
  • Lead the development of strategic recommendations for geographic or vertical expansions.


M&A and Strategic Investments


  • Support evaluation of potential acquisitions, partnerships, or investments that enhance capabilities and accelerate growth.
  • Collaborate with corporate development teams on transaction execution and integration planning to ensure value realization.


Product & Portfolio Strategy


  • Partner with product and finance leaders to evaluate the product portfolio and recommend investment, innovation, or rationalization strategies.
  • Align roadmap prioritization with corporate objectives to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximum impact.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional planning efforts and drive alignment across senior leadership teams.
  • Strong financial modeling, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with deep knowledge of technology-driven business models and key SaaS metrics.
  • Demonstrated success guiding long-term growth strategies, evaluating new market opportunities, and influencing executive decision-making.
  • Skilled at balancing strategic insight with operational discipline and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a track record of presenting to C-level executives and boards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
