These include data security, security risk , asset security, security architecture and engineering (incl. cloud security), communications and networks, security operations, software development, security assurance testing, identity and access management (IAM).

To be successful as a Security Consultant, you should have experience with:

• An understanding of infrastructure and platform security engineering.
• Proficiency in identifying, mitigating, and remediating security weaknesses in technology solutions.
• Good stakeholder and communication skills to influence and drive effective solutions.
  
  

Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include

• A Cyber Security qualification, such as a degree, master’s, or CISSP certification.
• Experience securing enterprise systems, including M365, AWS, GCloud and operating systems like Windows and Linux.
• Experience in securing Infrastructure, Cloud and Big Data platforms.
