Excellent opportunity for a Systems Engineer with a background in rail and with strong experience of Siemens TIA Portal to join our Sydney team.
In This Role
Reporting to the Senior Systems Engineer, you will apply engineering concepts, practices, and theories to design technical solutions. You will be accountable for successfully and competently delivering complex engineering solutions for our rail projects. You will design and deliver technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the project. You will manage and promptly resolve project issues and changes whilst managing and tracking tasks to complete projects within budget and time constraints.
About You
You will have an appropriate Electrical Engineering degree combined with 5 years of proven experience, ideally supporting rail projects. You will have solid experience with PLC, SCADA and RTU systems – specifically Siemens PLC software and TIA Portal, which is essential to be considered for this role. You will embrace challenges and have strong practical commissioning and trouble-shooting experience and be comfortable communicating and engaging with key stakeholders and client representatives.
