Senior Security Operations & Engineering

Education and Experience

7-10 years’ experience in a technical IT role, with 3+ years of security experience

Relevant industry certifications of equivalent experience

Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of implementing controls aligned to regulatory and industry data security standards.
• Knowledge of Windows & Linux operating environments and service architecture
• Strong Knowledge of Identity and access management platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience performing application and infrastructure vulnerability scanning, security alert monitoring & triage.
• In-depth understanding of application security risks and secure development practices
• Strong ability in configuring and managing cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of network and system security principles, practices, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols, etc.)
• Deep understanding and knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, e.g., next generation firewalls, IPS/IDS, Endpoint detection and response, SIEM tools. Microsoft 365 security stack, Mail gateways, and Forward/reverse proxies.
• Experience in Scripting Languages e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks, including Secure Software Delivery Life Cycle
• Sound knowledge of contemporary programming languages and frameworks – e.g. Javascript, PHP, C#, .NET
• Complex problem-solving and analytical abilities
