Take the lead in administering and enhancing our Business Intelligence systems to deliver timely, trusted insights that shape the City’s future. You’ll dive into complex data challenges, uncover business needs, and transform information into meaningful intelligence that supports the City of Perth’s strategic objectives and community outcomes.
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Lead within our ICT Services team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Design, implement and optimise BI systems using Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.
- Administer and secure BI environments to ensure data integrity, scalability and reliability.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement through Azure DevOps, CI/CD and AI.
- Empower stakeholders with self-service analytics and innovative tools like Power BI and Copilot.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Qualification or experience in Information Systems / Business Intelligence.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SQL-based BI tools.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
