The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions in hybrid and OT environments, aligned with corporate standards. This role involves close collaboration with product teams, architects, and cybersecurity specialists to ensure efficient integration and operation of cloud and on-premise services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with on-prem OT infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize platform services (compute, storage, networking, identity), including patching, monitoring, backup/DR, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with OT/PCN teams to ensure resilience and availability of critical systems.
- Implement and maintain security best practices in line with OT cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, NIST).
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize cloud resources.
- Automate deployment and configuration processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Support compliance and audit requirements for cloud-hosted OT environments.
- Proven experience in Windows and Linux server administration, including system hardening and compliance in OT environments.
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Knowledge in automation and scripting using tools like PowerShell and Bash.
- Familiarity with monitoring, performance management tools, and patching solutions in OT environments.
- Understanding of industrial control systems (PCN/OT/SCADA) and applied cybersecurity principles.
- Strong foundation in networking, security, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience working directly with OT systems or in industrial environments.
- Involvement in automation and observability projects within industrial settings.
- Certifications such as:
- Azure Administrator or similar.
- Cloud Security or OT Cybersecurity credentials.
- Knowledge of edge computing, hybrid cloud architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks relevant to OT.
- Experience in cloud-based architecture tailored for OT systems (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLCs).
- Analytical and critical thinking.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
Relocation may be considered.
