We're building One Place – the world's most powerful real estate search engine. Over 5 million properties across Europe are scattered across 1000+ websites. We use AI to bring them together into a single, unified platform – and we’re developing our own machine learning models to understand property images, extract meaningful features, and assess quality automatically.

Our goal isn’t to sell listings – it’s to make real estate information accurate, transparent, and unbiased. Every property is analyzed and presented on its own merits, helping users make informed decisions rather than follow ads.

You'll build the infrastructure that powers it all:

Data Infrastructure & Integration

• Ingest and organize data from 1000+ diverse sources – including real estate listings, geospatial data, and public datasets.
• Manage pipelines handling 5+ million property listings and 50+ million images, ensuring data is clean, consistent, and highly structured.
• Design efficient data models and keep every SQL query optimized for large-scale performance.

Scalable Backend & Search Systems

• Build backend infrastructure ready for millions of daily page views.
• Architect and maintain an API-first system.
• Develop and optimize our search infrastructure (Typesense) to deliver property results in under 100 ms.
• Integrate ML-driven insights – such as image feature extraction and quality scoring – into production services.

Performance & Operations

• Optimize query performance, caching, and data access across large, evolving datasets.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and uptime for all production systems.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that balance scalability, performance, and cost.

Your Stack

• Python, Django
• PostgreSQL, Typesense, SeaweedFS
• Docker, Linux sys admin
• Machine learning experience is a plus
• Full-stack experience and knowledge of React is a plus
