Location: Cork

Stelfox is partnering with a client in the finance industry who are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join their team in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on modern applications, gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, and continue developing their skills.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for the finance industry
• Contribute to both frontend and backend features in real-world applications
• Work with modern technologies including React, Node.js (Express), and TypeScript
• Learn and contribute to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
• Take ownership of tasks and projects with guidance from senior engineers

What we’re looking for:

• Around 2 years’ experience as a software developer/engineer
• Solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React (frontend) and Node.js (Express) (backend)
• Familiarity with modern software development practices such as version control and CI/CD
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative mindset
