Ergo are seeking a Level 2 Desktop Engineer for a 12 month contract opportunity in Wexford. This is an onsite role with a public-sector client where you will support the current ITIL-based Desktop environment for internal users.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 users, hardware installation and software deployment.

What will you do?

• Day to day operational support of the desktop environment
• End point troubleshooting of hardware and software (i.e. Microsoft suite - O365)
• Application troubleshooting and incident management across a range of standard and proprietary applications
• Provide local IT infrastructure support across a range of technologies, including network, voice and server
• Responsible for IT asset management
• Support of voice and video technologies, including mobile
• Interacting with other support groups (local and global) across multiple platforms
• Act as a local project resource for global initiatives i.e. Win11 migration

What do you need?

• 3+ years experience in a similar role (IT Support, Helpdesk Engineer, Systems Administrator)
• Office365 user support (Teams, SharePoint)
• Windows Server administration (Active Directory & Exchange)
• Videoconferencing
• Networking (IP Addressing and patching)
• Asset management
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant certifications including ITIL v4 / CompTIA / CCNA
