User Experience Designer

Cognizant Romania was established in 2018 when Cognizant acquired Softvision, a company founded in the late 1990s in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We continue to build on our history as the preferred engineering partner for thriving Silicon Valley tech companies, now as a prominent Cognizant next generation studio.

We are looking for an experienced designer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will excel in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, leveraging their expertise in Visual Design Elements, UI UX Designs, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.

This d role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that enhance user experiences and contribute to our company's mission of delivering impactful technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-centric interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate user requirements.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Utilize Visual Design Elements and Funda to craft aesthetically pleasing and functional designs
• Implement UI UX Designs that align with the company's brand and user needs.
• Leverage Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality graphics and visual elements.
• Use Figma to design and iterate on user interfaces efficiently.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
• Ensure designs are responsive and accessible across various devices and platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Work in a hybrid model, balancing remote and in-office work to maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of designs into final products.
• Contribute to the company's mission by creating designs that positively impact user experiences and society.
