Your tasks
- Act as the primary interface between key customers, partners and sales, core headquarter functions and experts for system-related solutions; work closely with the R&D product owner.
- Define and maintain system roadmaps ensuring alignment with market requirements and organizational strategy, monitoring technology trends and regulatory changes in the field, proposing adjustments to the product strategy and roadmap in line with market evolution and international standards.
- Ensure the overall lifecycle planning, manage product lifecycle activities, including market introduction, upgrades, feature enhancements, and end-of-life planning, in collaboration with sales, engineering and service teams.
- Drive requirement management and feature/release baselining of systems, maintaining documentation such as Specification Books and Requirement Specifications, translating operational and market requirements into clear, detailed technical specifications, working closely with R&D teams to deliver robust, secure, and competitive solutions.
- Drive the product-related service offerings, align in collaboration with service organization the service products that complement system offerings, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and contract compliance.
- Provides technical support for commercial activities, including in the bidding process, product demonstrations, client presentations, training sessions, and participation in industry events (exhibitions, trade shows, technical workshops).
- Engages in technical meetings with strategic partners and key customers, gathering real-world usage feedback to support informed development decisions and continuous product improvement.
- You have a senior business presence, demonstrating strategic thinking and the ability to align technical understanding with business priorities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Communication Technologies, Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven track record as a Product Manager, Systems Engineer, or similar role for complex software or technical solutions, ideally in aviation or Air Traffic Control (ATC), aviation (minimum 5 years experience).
- Familiarity with requirement management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to explain technical functionality and system mechanics at various stakeholder levels.
- Ability to develop product and service roadmaps, as well as partner strategy.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate international and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management skills strong international market understanding and intercultural competence.
- English and Romanian language proficiency required, knowledge of German language an advantage.
