Context of the role
DT One is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support our growth by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements—translating them into functional specifications and actionable insights. You will be working with large datasets, performing gap analyses, and visualising business processes using tools including sequence diagrams.
This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation, enabling data-driven decisions that improve products and operations. Experience in fintech or digital payments, particularly in prepaid products, telco integrations, cross-border value flows, and FX, will be highly advantageous.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Describes business requirements (stories, flows, diagrams), for engineers and architects
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights that drive product strategy and business decisions.
- Create visual representations of business processes and data insights using tools like Tableau, Excel, and similar tools.
- Identify discrepancies between current and target states, providing actionable recommendations.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and in preparing internal training materials to ensure team readiness.
- Update the Product Knowledge Base with accurate documentation, FAQs, and training materials.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years in a Business Analyst role, ideally within the fintech or banking industry.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence
- Familiarity with Use Case modelling and UML notation would be a considerable advantage
- Technical writing experience is a plus
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Excel) and process mapping
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
- Previous UX experience in B2C funnels (Figma, onboarding, conversion funnels)
