Job Purpose
As a Senior Condition Monitoring Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of rotating equipment across multiple assets. You’ll provide expert-level diagnostics, troubleshooting, and strategic recommendations to mitigate failure risks and enhance asset performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex failure modes and provide expert troubleshooting for rotating equipment.
- Conduct investigations and ensure machinery operates under optimal conditions.
- Utilize and troubleshoot condition monitoring systems (e.g., 3500 racks, System1, ADRE 408, AMS Suite).
- Perform field tasks including rotor trim balancing, instrumentation upgrades, and installations.
- Collaborate across disciplines (Controls, I&E) and prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Mentor junior analysts and support large-scale condition monitoring projects.
- Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Track and report KPIs, ensuring timely communication of deviations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in an oil & gas or similar industrial environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with condition monitoring tools and software.
- Expertise in vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
- Experience with predictive maintenance strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with cross-functional teams.
