PURPOSE
This position is responsible for leading the Corporate Procurement function across hospitality, clubs, with a strong focus on project-based and operational procurement. The role will oversee sourcing, vendor management, and contracting to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery of materials and services aligned with organizational objectives. The incumbent will play a key role in strategic procurement planning, supporting pre-opening and renovation projects, and driving centralized procurement excellence across DLF’s Hospitality portfolio.

INTERACTS WITH
External: Vendors, Consultants, Service Providers, Statutory Authorities, and Contractors.
Internal: Senior Leadership, Finance, Projects, Engineering, Operations, and Administration Teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving Operational Excellence
- Lead end-to-end procurement planning and execution for hospitality club projects.
- Manage sourcing for FF&E, OS&E, capital equipment, services, and project materials within defined budgets and timelines.
- Standardize procurement policies, processes, and documentation across all business units.
- Drive efficiency through supplier consolidation, contract optimization, and spend analytics.
Applied Learning
- Stay updated on market trends, materials technology, and vendor innovations relevant to hospitality and construction procurement.
- Benchmark best practices and integrate digital tools/ERP systems for data-driven decision-making.
- Train and guide teams on category management, negotiation techniques, and compliance standards.
People & Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strategic vendor partnerships for long-term value creation.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance.
- Foster collaboration between project, finance, and operations teams to forecast procurement requirements effectively.
Business & Financial Acumen
- Prepare and monitor annual procurement budgets and forecasts.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and long-term rate agreements to optimize spend and mitigate risks.
- Present monthly dashboards with insights on savings, cost avoidance, and key procurement KPIs.
Leadership
- Act as a strategic partner to senior management in aligning procurement strategy with business goals.
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and drive system-based procurement practices.
- Mentor and develop procurement teams to strengthen organizational capability.
- Champion integrity, transparency, and ethical business conduct in all procurement activities.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all procurement practices adhere to statutory, audit, and internal compliance standards.
- Maintain robust documentation and contract management systems.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to pricing volatility, supply chain disruptions, and vendor reliability.
Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure supplier and contractor compliance with OH&S requirements.
- Integrate sustainability and safety considerations into procurement decisions.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure adherence to corporate safety and environmental norms.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate in any field/ Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in hospitality project procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management, preferably within luxury hospitality
- Proven track record in pre-opening procurement, capital project sourcing, and corporate-level procurement governance
