We support the PwC business specialists to build products connected to a purpose. Process improvement, business transformation, effective use of innovative technology and data & analytics, and leveraging alternative delivery solutions are key components. Our products tackle the real challenges our clients face today, and unlock new opportunities for future growth. 

 

Our digital product teams aim to reimagine the possible: based on client centricity, agile delivery and startup thinking. 

 

Your impact

As a Chief Data Officer, you’ll make an impact by:

• Owning and executing the enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
  
• Leading data governance initiatives, including, compliance, and ethical use, while embedding data as a strategic asset.
  
• Leading a virtual Data Centre of Excellence, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  
• Driving the adoption of modern data platforms and technologies (e.g. cloud-native, real-time streaming, AI/ML-ready environments).
  
• Collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable data architectures.
  
• Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable data solutions.
  
• Foster organisational buy-in for the data strategy and driving its effective implementation across the fir.
  
• Establishing and maintaining structured ways of working, including documentation, process governance, and performance tracking.
  
  
  
  

About you

• You have a proven track record in senior data leadership roles within complex IT or technology-driven organisations.
  
• You bring deep expertise in data governance, architecture, and engineering principles, with a strong focus on enabling scalable technology solutions and AI driven innovation.
  
• You are hands-on with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Collibra, Denodo or similar.
  
• You are a structured and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  
• You are an excellent communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• You hold a relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent through experience.
  
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
