• Our subdomain focuses on the systems that are being used in our warehouses and over 420 stores worldwide. Our systems are being used by over 170,000 co-workers and handle 7 million customer returns yearly.
  
  
  To ensure our stores can adapt to the ever-changing needs of our customers, it is important to innovate and therefore we have decided to transform our system landscape from legacy monoliths to a highly scalable and extensible event-driven architecture. Considering our scale this is a truly challenging adventure we have set ourselves on.
  
  
  Our team is creating products for co-workers to receive products in stores and distribution centers in a simple, efficient, and predictable way. As a Senior Engineer you will continuously improve these products by designing new integrations, building new features, and measuring the impact on the co-worker.
  
  
  As a person, you have a proven ability to develop high-quality code using and applying such as SOLID and DRY. You are unafraid to share your opinion and join conversations with other product teams to set common standards. You have a curious nature and you actively acquire new knowledge, skills, and digital systems to improve your way of working.
  
  
  To be successful as a Software Engineer you have advanced training in computer science or similar and you have demonstrable experience in working in an agile and DevOps environment.

  Feeling very much at home in different ecosystems and programming environments such as Kotlin/Java (Spring Boot/Cloud), Node/Typescript (React), cloud systems knowledge (vendor-independent), infrastructure as code (Terraform), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  Being part of the full product development process, from understanding the problem to designing the solution - to delivering and running our products on production.
  Applying and adhering to good software engineering practices. We love simplicity!
  Providing support and guidance as needed to other developers within the development team and encouraging good practices.
  Contributing to the continuous development of standards against and exploring and bringing in modern technologies and tools to boost innovation and development productivity.
  Helping to identify, measure, automate, and use the right data points to improve our overall software engineering process and helping with the business to improve our digital products.
