Job Purpose:

The IT Director is responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the organization’s information technology systems and infrastructure. The role ensures that IT operations, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives effectively support the organization’s goals, while maintaining efficiency, data security, and compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with organizational objectives and digital transformation goals.
  • Oversee the design and execution of technology roadmaps, budgets, and project plans.
  • Advise senior management on emerging technologies and IT trends.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems, networks, and applications.
  • Lead system upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new technologies.
  • Oversee data centers, cloud services, and enterprise systems (ERP, HRMS, LMS, etc.).

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor compliance with cybersecurity regulations and data protection standards.
  • Coordinate audits, risk assessments, and incident response activities.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Lead and mentor IT managers, engineers, and support staff.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT team.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee IT service delivery and technical support operations across all sites.
  • Manage hardware/software procurement and asset inventory.
  • Ensure high system availability, performance, and user satisfaction.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise systems, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity programs.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, cloud computing, networking, and data management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or similar) are an advantage.
