Project Manager - Building

Reporting to the Project Director this position is responsible for efficiently managing and executing assigned projects within approved parameters like cost, timelines, functionality and quality in line with DarGlobal strategies and plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with reputable main contractors or real estate developers, with hands-on experience managing the full lifecycle of high-rise residential buildings and luxury villas within large masterplan communities. They will be adept at developing and executing strategic construction plans that align with fixed timelines and proactively address potential risks. This individual should possess proven leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully managing diverse teams and stakeholders and must be an articulate communicator who can effectively coordinate across all levels of the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Conduct risk assessments and create contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges.
• Regularly communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Monitor project financials and make recommendations to adjust resources and timelines as needed.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management
• 8+ years of experience in project management of High-rise residential buildings and luxury villas in a large masterplan community
• Must have previous experience working with a reputable main contractor or real-estate developer in Oman or the UAE and familiar with local codes and standards
• Must be result oriented, ensuring operational excellence in areas of responsibility and able to delivers best results
• Takes active ownership of problems and provide timely and result focused solutions
• Outcome-driven with strong communication skills
