Transrail Lighting Limited is looking for Construction Manager

Job Description / Responsibility

1. Technical Oversight

• Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications on-site.
• Ensure that all construction activities align with engineering and architectural designs.

2. Site Supervision

• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure proper execution and adherence to project specifications.
• Oversee the work of contractors and site workers, ensuring they follow design guidelines and project plans.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure that construction materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.

4. Health and Safety Management

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on-site.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify potential hazards and implement measures to prevent accidents.

5. Resource Management

• Manage the allocation of materials, equipment, and labor on-site.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to avoid project delays.

6. Progress Monitoring

• Track project progress and ensure that milestones are met according to the project schedule.
• Report any delays, issues, or risks that could affect project completion to the Project Manager.

7. Problem-Solving

• Address technical or logistical issues that arise during construction.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design or execution challenges.

8. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work progress, resource usage, and any issues encountered.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and inspection reports to the project manager or senior engineers.

9. Coordination with Stakeholders

• Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless site operations.
• Liaise with the project manager, architects, and other engineers to clarify any technical details.

10. Compliance with Regulations

• Ensure that all construction work complies with local building codes, regulations, and environmental laws.
• Manage site permits and ensure that all legal requirements are met.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
• Skills Required: Building Construction, Road construction, Transmission line, Bridge Construction Project, Mega Structure, Commissioning substation activities

Experience Requirements

• At least 13 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading or Export/Import

Additional Requirements

• Must have minimum 5 to 10 years of experience working in a foreign country.

Salary

Tk. 120000 - 150000 (Monthly)
