As Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Implementation Division, ensuring effective management of corporate services and driving good governance practices. Working closely with the divisional leadership team, you will provide high level executive support, advice, and operational assistance across key areas, including administration, financial management, human resources, and governance.

Your responsibilities will include managing financial processes such as procurement, reconciliations, budgets, and travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with departmental policies. You will also maintain administrative processes, including correspondence, reports, briefing notes, and secure document storage. Additionally, you will oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key information, such as financial and workforce data, to ensure the division operates efficiently.

Partnering with the Executive Officer, you will support the leadership team in delivering key priorities. To succeed, you will bring strong communication skills, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your expertise in corporate governance, financial management, and human resource practices will be essential, along with core skills in relationship-building and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial processes, including procurement, reconciliations, budgets, and travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with departmental systems.
  • Coordinate business continuity planning and fraud control to support effective corporate governance.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for business improvement across financial, human resource, and administrative processes.
  • Maintain administrative processes, including correspondence, memos, reports, briefing notes, and secure storage and archiving.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of corporate governance information, including financial reporting, procurement, and workforce data.
  • Provide high-level executive support to the leadership team, ensuring timely delivery of key priorities.
  • Support human resource processes, including onboarding, compliance with legislative frameworks, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and Corporate Services to ensure cohesive service delivery.
