Principal Information Security Officer

The Information Security team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the department’s digital environment. This includes ensuring the department’s ICT networks, business information systems, and ICT assets align with Queensland Government information security standards and frameworks, effectively manage risks, and adhere to industry best practices.

As a Principal Information Security Officer, you will lead efforts to strengthen the department's security posture by driving strategic planning, conducting comprehensive reviews and assessments, and delivering insightful reporting. You will also take ownership of identifying and resolving security issues, ensuring the department remains resilient against emerging threats while meeting compliance and operational excellence objectives.
